US - New Orleans: Katrina toxic soup myth

Rapes and murders at the Superdome a myth. No transportation for those without it except for the flooded buses the mayor failed to use as his disaster plan called for. No racial or economic prejudice in the demographics of the victims. And they even got this wrong.

While a devastated New Orleans still struggles to recover from Hurricane Katrina, the city apparently has avoided one of the storm's most-feared consequences -- "toxic soup" contamination of its soil.

The reason the media got the story so wrong on Katrina can be summed up in one word - Bush. The media used the disaster for their own left wing agenda and as usual, the hell with the truth.

They did much the same in Lebanon.
