US - White House gives Democrats a smackdown

In a letter to Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid, the White House responds to the Democrats letter to the President.

In the Democrats letter, they outline 4 proposals on how to proceed in Iraq. As the White House response notes, 3 of the 4 Democrats proposals are already the adminstrations policy and are currently being implemented in Iraq. The fourth Democrat proposal is to cut and run in Iraq - the Demcorats policy all along.

Bottom line, there is absolutely nothing new in the Democrats letter; it's nothing more than a publicity stunt.

I'm glad the White House gave them the smackdown they deserve.
