All eyes on Muslim Friday prayers from SCBBC

Some imams are expected to follow a plea from the Muslim Council of Britain to urge vigilance against terror during their Friday prayers.

But other leaders are thought to be angry that their religion has been linked with terrorism and there could be public demonstrations of anger.

Don't these guys have a Pope or something to lead them all. Oh, right, that would be bin Laden. My bad.

We're getting pretty damn angry at Islamic terrorism. So, how about some "public demonstrations of anger" over the continuing attacks on the west by Islamic terrorists?

Sorry, still haven't finished my coffee.

The moves come as a ninth man was held as part of anti-terror raids in south-east England.

Do tell.

The MCB drew up a letter to mosques in the wake of the Madrid bombings, although news of its unprecedented step came at the same time as the raids in the South East, which led to the seizure of half a ton of fertiliser used in bombings.

Unprecedented as in never been done before eh? As I said in an earlier post, 3000 dead in New York wasn't good enough. That is why I think the letter has more to do with the arrests in the UK.

"We have been able to put clear blue water between the wider Muslim community and the radical elements who may have been thinking about taking a violent path."

Not by a long shot pal!
