Cleric Declares Himself the "Striking Hand" of Hamas from The Command Post

An influential Shiite cleric in Najaf, Iraq, announced his support Friday for two of Israel’s biggest enemies — the Palestinian militant group Hamas and Lebanon-based Hezbollah.
“They can consider me their striking hand in Iraq whenever there is a necessity and whenever there is a need,” Moqtada al-Sadr said in a sermon at Al Kufa mosque.

Meanwhile, another Cleric almost had sympathy for the Falluja incident:

At weekly prayers today, a cleric condemned the mutilation of four slain American contractors in this conservative city, but did not criticize the killings.

Seems Sadr is another one who didn't get the letter on what to say in sermons.

and now you know why the coalition shut his newspaper down.
