John, I hate America, Simpson at it again from, we hate America, SCBBC

Not a long article by Simson's standards but he just had to stick is oar in on the current, "the sky is falling", Iraqi unrest. The more I look at him the more I believe he is Homer's dad.

He starts off with this "There is always a danger in playing up crises like this and giving the impression that disaster is just at hand.

But here in Baghdad, a lot of the politicians on the Iraqi governing council think it is true."
(emphasis added)

But then says this "Last night I asked one of the senior political advisers with the council if he was depressed."

"One" and "a lot" are not the same John.

Then he gets more confused. "People like him feel the Americans have just played into the hands of the extremists by letting themselves be drawn into a war, or at any rate a crisis on two fronts

John, didn't you forget to mention that Sadr announced he is the Hezbollah and Hamas representative in Iraq and declared war on the coalition?

This next line will show you either how dumb this guy is or how subtly evil he is.

Falluja, which is predominantly Sunni Muslim and is now violently anti-American

I hate to keep doing this but it so appropriate in this case. HELLO! MCFLY (smacks Simpson on forehead). What do you mean by "and is now" , John? Are you really that dumb? Just about everyone on this planet, except you, knows that Falluja is where the former regime members live. We drove them from power in a war; how much more anti-American can you get?

But you see, slick John here is trying to put one over on his readers. He knows full well that Falluja is the home of the previous regime. What he is trying to say is Falluja was a peace loving, coalition supporting band of followers until they took on Sadr and then it became so "violently anti-American". What a moron.

Here is slick John trying to have it both ways and blaming America again.

Moqtada Sadr was something of a tearaway who gathered a small army of thugs around himself.

Now, because the Americans have decided to take them on, he and his Mehdi army have suddenly assumed the status of defenders of the faith.

He goes from saying Sadrs "small army of thugs" to "the Mehdi army" and blames the US for the transition. Simpson totally ignores the fact that Iran is sending men, arms and money to fund Sadr. We are not just fighting Sadr but Iran as well.

And on it goes. I'll say it again, Simpson should be fired and the SCBBC should be ashamed.
