US - War price on U.S. lives equal to 9/11

The AP in full surrender mode.

WASHINGTON - Now the death toll is 9/11 times two. U.S. military deaths from Iraq and Afghanistan now match those of the most devastating terrorist attack in America's history, the trigger for what came next. Add casualties from chasing terrorists elsewhere in the world, and the total has passed the Sept. 11 figure.

Left unsaid is how many more 9/11's were prevented? If those enterprises were not undertaken, how many thousands more would be dead today? This short list of failed and foiled attacks gives us a hint.

Philippines - plot to blow up 11 airliners exposed - thousands would have died.
London - plan to fly plane into Parliament on 9/11 abondoned
Madrid - killed 191 people and injured a further 1700
Bali - killed 202 people and injured a further 209
London - Killed 52 people and injured a further 700
London - 21/7 bombs fail to detonate
Egypt - killed 88 people and injured a further 100
Jordan - killed 60 people and injured a further 120
London - Plan to blow up 11 Airplanes foiled - thousands would have died.

By focusing on just the Muslim terror attacks on 9/11, the AP is like the butcher who's trying to cheat you with his finger on the scale.

Afghanistan was home to the Taleban and the training ground for al Qaeda. How many more 9/11's around the would there have been if they had not been defeated? The list of foiled and failed plots is long. Thankfully, the list of successful Muslim terror attacks is much shorter. But that just highlights the fact that we are at war around the world against Muslim terrorists and the need to fight them.

For those that blame these attacks on Iraq and Afghanistan, 9/11 came before either of those wars. And the Philippines Muslim terror plot to blow up 11 airliners which would have killed thousands, came before 9/11. In fact, parts of the plot found on the leaders lap top following an explosion in his flat, are said to be the blueprint for 9/11.

Left in power few doubt that Saddam would eventually use weapons of mass destruction himself or give them to al Qaeda. That's according to all the top Democrats, including former President Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton.

So, those lives lost, as great as that loss is, were not lost in vain. They died for our and the world's freedom. In the process they freed over 50 million Muslims from tyranny. Moreover, those that died volunteered to serve and protect us - they died for what they believed in.

None of that matters to the Islamist supporting left wing media.
