Terror attack fears grow as alerts spread around Europe from Channel News Asia

LONDON: Europe is facing ever more serious fears of another major terrorism attack, perhaps even over the Easter holiday period, as a series of security alerts spread fear through Spain, France, Britain and Italy.

Check out this tidbit about Italy:

Additionally, Italy was on top alert, with the country's government saying on Wednesday that more than 13,000 potential terrorist targets were being kept under surveillance by a total of some 16,000 security personnel.

Just over one for one. Not a pretty picture but still better than Canada.
