UPDATE
There is some doubt now about the exact nature of this story and its' facts. Rather than delete it I'll let it stand for now and post a link to some clairifications. Turns out this is not one of Moore's bodyguards.
I have two reasons for not deleting it.
First, as the writer in this link points out:
As for the issue that we raised, the hypocrisy of Moore...in my opinion it still stands. It goes back to the first time we heard that Moore was hiring armed guards. He considers his own safety paramount, and feels that a weapon can protect him, but he doesn’t want the average American to have that same protection.
Second, the link at the end of this post to other hypocrites is still valid.
For Moore and Hollywood to make anti gun movies and statments while employing armed guards is hypocritical.
Fox News has the scoop on gun nut Moore. Hey, who knew?
NEW YORK — Filmmaker Michael Moore's (search) bodyguard was arrested for carrying an unlicensed weapon in New York's JFK airport Wednesday night.
But I thought Moore was anti-gun? [Yeah, me too.]
Moore's 2003 Oscar-winning film "Bowling for Columbine" criticizes what Moore calls America's "culture of fear" and its obsession with guns.
Well, him being a big time film director and all that, while you and me are, well, expendable.
Here's a round up of more anti-gun hypocrites via Instapundit.
