Katrina - 130 BRITONS ARE MISSING

Sky News reports "Attempts are continuing to trace more than 130 Britons unaccounted for in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina."

And they provide emergency contact information.

The Foreign Office has issued a hotline number for concerned relatives to contact. It is 020 7008 0000. There is also a 24-hour contact number for the British consulate in Houston, which is 001 713 659 6270.

Please help the victims of the Katrina disaster by donating to the Red Cross Katrina relief fund. Their donation page is here.

NZ Bear is keeping track of which blog people contributed through, and if you have the time please stop by there and register your donation.

Thanks.
