State-controlled TV in Cuba has shown new images of President Fidel Castro, apparently recovering from the gastric surgery he underwent over a month ago.
Really BBC? "Latest images" and "new" images?
The Cuban leader is shown meeting the Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez, who made an unannounced visit to Cuba on his return from a visit to Asia.
Hang on a minute! Chavez met Castro over two weeks ago! These aren't new images - they may be "newly released" - but they certainly aren't "new images" as the BBC claims. In case you caught that as I did, listen how the BBC try to slide that past you.
He does seem to be recuperating well and is markedly more animated than he appeared in the previous video, which was taped on his 80th birthday on 13 August.
See how the BBC try and portray this as a "new" video by comparing it to one "which was taped on his 80th birthday on 13 August". But since Chavez visted Castro on that date, both videos have to be from the same day.
That's the communist dictator loving BBC for you. Oh, and did I mention the BBC supports Muslim terrorists as well? More proof here.
UPDATE
Reuters fabricates the same story.
HAVANA (Reuters) - A clearly recovering Cuban President Fidel Castro was shown on television on Friday meeting with Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and brother Raul Castro, to whom he temporarily ceded power a month ago to have abdominal surgery.
Castro appeared much stronger than when he was last seen on in a video on August 13, when his ally Chavez visited him to celebrate his 80th birthday.
On Friday Castro, wearing red pajamas, was seen sitting at a small table talking animatedly with Chavez. On August 13, Castro was shown in bed and covered with a blanket.
The two videos are from the same visit but that doesn't stop Reuters from trying to lie to you.
