More good news from Iraq

And surprise, surprise, reported by The BBC

Iraq's economy is set to grow more than 50% this year, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) says.

But the BBC reports that the key to this growth is "Help with Iraq's estimated $124.9bn in foreign debt...".

Thankfully, in another surprise good news reporting from Iraq, the BBC has this to report.

Iraq owes about $40bn in debt and interest repayments to the Paris Club of creditor nations which includes the US, Russia, Japan and European nations.

Under the agreement 80% of that may be written-off.
