Muslim Profiling in the UK

All across the UK, from Dundee Scotland to London England, Muslim terrorists operate, recruit and carry out terrorist activities. Several terror attacks have been foiled; some involved chemical attacks. All of which has led to Muslim profiling in the UK.

Today The BBC does a shoddy job of reporting on the issue.

The article centers on Home Office minister Hazel Blears comments.

"The threat is most likely to come from those people associated with an extreme form of Islam, or who are falsely hiding behind Islam," she told MPs on the home affairs committee.

"It means that some of our counter-terrorism powers will be disproportionately experienced by the Muslim community."

Needless to say this provoked outrage in the Muslim community.

IHRC chairman Massoud Shadjareh accused Ms Blears of "playing an Islamophobia card" in the run-up to a general election.

Mr. Shadjareh provided some statistics that the BBC were happy to publish without reference to source or challenge.

Statistics showed that of the 17 people found guilty of terrorist acts in the UK since the 11 September attacks, only four of the 12 whose ethnic backgrounds were known were Muslim, he added

Four of twelve eh Mr. Shadjareh? Let me add a few for you.

Shoe bomber Richard Reid for starters. And how about fellow shoe bomber Saajid Badat. Both are from the UK.

That's 6 of 12 or 50% Mr. Shadjareh; certainly enough percentage wise to warrant closer scrutiny of Muslims. And that is just using his own un-sourced statistics.

Then there's UK bomb suspect Ahmed Khan who bragged he would become the “Next Osama Bin Laden.”

And what about Al Falastini currently in a London prison for a plot to destroy Rome?

It was a British cleric who coordinated the Madrid train bombings.

Then there are those Muslims recruited in the UK for terror plots overseas. The BBC reports on "Suicide bomber recruitment in the UK"

A growing number of young Muslim men in Britain want to train to become suicide bombers, a BBC investigation has revealed. [...]

As al-Muhajiroun's worldwide leader, Bakri has taken his tutorials to branches across the UK. It was in Derby that Omar Sharif, the son of a well respected local businessman, asked Bakri for private meetings.

Last year, Omar's body was found washed up on an Israeli beach. He had gone to Tel Aviv with Londoner Asif Hanif who blew himself up outside a bar, killing three people.

In Scotland, fears of home grown terrorists in the UK, prompted the police to launch Operation Prism.

Dundee has gained a reputation as a fertile breeding ground for Islamic fundamentalists.

Last year it emerged that Norien Sajeel, a Scottish primary school teacher in her twenties, born and raised in the city, was also leader of Pakistan’s Sister Division, the women’s branch of Al-Muhajiroun.

In the wake of the Bali bombing, which left more than 180 dead, one of the eight suspects was Shamsul Bahri Hussein, a graduate of Dundee University.
Hussein confessed to his involvement.

What's worse, everyday the UK pays for the recruitment of terrorists. Scott Burgess details the terrorist activities of 6 British terrorist recruiters and notes they are paid over £8600 a month plus other benefits.

British Muslim terrorist Sheikh Omar Bakri Muhammad, even warns us there will be attacks on London.

Several Islamic militant groups are preparing attacks on London, making such a strike unavoidable, a radical Muslim cleric said in an interview published Sunday.

"It's inevitable. Because several (attacks) are being prepared by several groups," Sheikh Omar Bakri Muhammad told Lisbon's Publica magazine from London where he is based

It has been aptly said that maybe not all Muslims are terrorists but so far all the terrorists have been Muslim.

No, Mr. Shadjareh, Ms Blears is not "playing an Islamophobia card" in the run-up to a general election". If anything the British government is not doing enough to stop Muslim terrorists.
