UK - Thousands to join pro-Islam rally

Muslims will protest at a few cartoons they find offensive but won't protest against the 9/11 or 7/7 Muslim terrorists. How come they don't march over these? Do they not find bin Laden and al Qaeda offensive? We sure as hell do.

Why didn't these Muslims march and protest when these cartoons were published by Muslims in Egypt last October? Why protest now and why not protest outside the Egyptian embassy? Because this isn't about protesting against the cartoons, this is about getting Britain to submit to Islam.

Have you ever seen a mass demonstration by Christians, Jews or other faiths when Muslims around the world daily print the most offensive cartoons against other religions? This isn't about them being offended, this is about their desire to sifle free speech, their desire to have us submit to Islam.

The rally on Saturday afternoon, called United Against Incitement and Islamophobia, has been organised by the Muslim Council of Britain, the Muslim Association of Britain and a number of Christian organisations, and has the backing of the Mayor of London.

Mayor Ken Livingstone singled out football thugs and extremists and warned them to stay away, saying police would halt any attempt to disrupt the demonstration.

You may recall it was the MCB's secretary general, Iqbal Sacranie, who said this:

'There is no such thing as an Islamic terrorist. This is deeply offensive. Saying Muslims are terrorists would be covered by this provision' [the proposed religious hate law] .

Seems to me Muslims are pretty easily offended by just about anything - western.

And the MCB is far from moderate as the BBC would have you believe.

But an Observer investigation can reveal that, far from being moderate, the Muslim Council of Britain has its origins in the extreme orthodox politics in Pakistan. And as its influence increases through Whitehall, many within the Muslim community are growing concerned that this self-appointed organisation is crowding out other, genuinely moderate, voices of Muslim Britain.

To their credit the BBC did air a program called a Question of Leadership that exposed the MCB and MAB as anything but moderate.

But an investigation by Panorama reporter John Ware found groups affiliated to the MCB promoting anti-Semitic views, the belief that Islam is a superior ideology to secular British values and the view that Christians and Jews are conspiring to undermine Islam.

In an interview with Mr Ware, Sir Iqbal refused to disown a group known as Al-e-Hadith, which says the ways of Christians and Jews "are based on sick or deviant views" and that "imitating the Kuffar [non-Muslims] leads to a permanent abode in hellfire".

Don't be fooled by this propaganda disguised as a "peaceful protest". This is nothing more than an attempt to get Britain to submit to Islam, which is after all Islam's one and only aim.

UPDATE

Biased BBC has more on what the BBC is not telling you.

Biased by omission is just another subtle trick of the BBC.
