The media and blogsphere is abuzz over Suskind's revelation that al Qaeda planned to use posion gas on New Yorks's subways. But his book also reveals that Britain was warned about Mohammad Sidique Khan two years before he and others attacked London's underground on 7/7. The Scotsman reports.

The intelligence "turf war" in America is no excuse for Britain to have dropped the ball on Khan. Khan was a British citizen living here in Britain and the authorities were made aware of what he was up to.
