Iraq - Iraqis face new lives

After yesterdays appalling report on Iraq by The BBC, it's nice to see some balance today. Maybe those email complaints are having some affect.

One thing that is common, at least amongst these seven Iraqis in this BBC report, is that Iraqis cherish their new freedom. Here is a sample.

Call it what you will, it happened and it was a magnificent thing.

Iraqis are feeling better. They are breathing the air of freedom. They read, watch and say what they want.

They travel, work and receive a living wage. They use mobile phones, satellite dishes and the internet, which they did not even know before.

I wonder if the positive tone of this report has to do with the fact that it came from BBC Arabic.com?
