Nick Clegg was forced on to the defensive last night over his expenses and lobbying activities.
The Lib Dem leader regularly claimed more than Gordon Brown and David Cameron and charged the taxpayer for three kitchen upgrades in six months.
He also billed for foreign phone calls, napkins, cake tins and for hundreds of pounds to prune his fruit trees.
Questioned over his expenses relating to his constituency property, he hit back, bizarrely saying: 'It's not my home, it's yours.'

How to free up screen space in your browser - video
If you're like most people, you probably have several, if not many, "tool bars" at the top of your browser screen. These tool bars can speed up your browsing and social interaction but they can take up a lot of screen space; sometimes by as much as half!
Here's a little tip to free up that screen space. At the top of of your keyboard you'll find a row of keys, running from left to right, labeled F1-F12. If you press F11 the tool bars will disappear! Don't worry. Press F11 again and they'll come back. Here's a video to show you how.

Two senators subpoena Obama administration for information on Fort Hood shootings

Sens. Joseph I. Lieberman (I-Conn.) and Susan Collins (R-Maine) issued the first congressional subpoenas of the Obama administration Monday after accusing the White House of stonewalling their requests for information about the Fort Hood shootings.
In a letter with the subpoenas, the chairman and ranking member of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee said the FBI and Defense Department had ignored their requests for five months. The Nov. 5 shootings at the Texas base, the largest Army post in the United States, left 13 people dead.

(CNSNews.com) – A New York Times/CBS News poll found that a majority of Americans, 52 percent, think the policies of President Barack Obama are moving the United States toward socialism
Published April 14, the poll surveyed the political, racial, and social opinions of both the general pubic and self-described members of the tea party movement. It found that while tea party participants are generally more conservative than the broader population, they are also better educated and slightly more successful.
