US - Hillary Clinton Fired For Lies, Unethical Behavior

The Democrats have enough hidden skeletons to fill several houses, never mind a closet. Thanks to the cat fight between Clinton and Obama, their supporters are exposing these long hidden skeletons. Forget about chickens coming home to roost and check out the Democrats skeletons.

"Jerry Zeifman, a lifelong Democrat, supervised the work of 27-year-old Hillary Rodham on the committee. Hillary got a job working on the investigation at the behest of her former law professor, Burke Marshall, who was also Sen. Ted Kennedy’s chief counsel in the Chappaquiddick affair. When the investigation was over, Zeifman fired Hillary from the committee staff and refused to give her a letter of recommendation – one of only three people who earned that dubious distinction in Zeifman’s 17-year career.

Why?

“Because she was a liar,” Zeifman said in an interview last week. “She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality.”

And that's not all.

"“Hillary then removed all the Douglas files to the offices where she was located, which at that time was secured and inaccessible to the public,” Zeifman said. Hillary then proceeded to write a legal brief arguing there was no precedent for the right to representation by counsel during an impeachment proceeding – as if the Douglas case had never occurred.

The brief was so fraudulent and ridiculous, Zeifman believes Hillary would have been disbarred if she had submitted it to a judge."

Somehow it all ways comes back to Hillary hiding files.

UK - BBC: "Brazilians shun 'American Dream' "

Now this is funny.

In post 9/11 America illegal immigrants, from Brazil or any other country, are feeling the heat for being in the US illegally. But in the BBC's alternate universe, it's the Brazilians shunning America. Listen to this:

"America is a good place if you work and do the right thing. You can have everything there.

"I met a lot of people that are giving up because right now living in America with no documents, if you are illegal, is very hard."

Sending money

Despite this, some 30,000 people from this one city are still said to live in the US. "

Whew boy! That's some shunning!

"However, the new service must be paid for in foreign currency, which will restrict access to wealthier Cubans. "

So no change then? And about that foreign currency.

"...the general public to sign prepaid contracts in Cuban Convertible Pesos, which are geared toward tourists and foreigners and worth 24 times the regular pesos Cuban state employees are paid in."

And who knows how many times that normal Cuban's are paid in.

US - Winter Soldier II refuse to testify under oath

In other words, they're lying just like John Kerry did the first time around.

US - "Hillary Clinton; fibber in chief"

Says it all.

"In fact the facility with which the Clintons misspeak is so pronounced that it is quite possible they have genuinely forgotten how to tell the plain truth. There was no real need for Mrs Clinton to make the claim about landing in sniper fire. But the compulsion to embroider, to dissemble and to dissimulate is now so entrenched in the synapses of the Clinton brain that it came to her as naturally as the truth would to a slow-witted innocent.

Someone once noted that the thing about the Clintons is that they will choose a big lie when a small lie will do, and choose a small lie when the truth will do. Most of the time they get away with it. But occasionally, an inconvenient truth, like a blue dress with DNA on it, or some forgotten news footage, shows up and damns them."

The question that I've been asking for many many years is, why on earth does anyone support the Clinton's? They're both prolific liars and he's a sexual predator. Tells you a lot about the left in America doesn't it.

Hillary claimed that she ran from her plane to waiting vehicles under sniper fire in Bosnia. But when video surfaced of her greeting an 8 year old girl on the tarmac, she said she took a poem from her and left hurriedly, stating I couldn't just ignore the girl. But as you can see from the video, Hillary met with a large group of other children and spent time talking to the troops.

Good question Jake. Perhaps someone will ask her.

US - Hillary Clinton stands by Bosnia account

Clinton says she misspoke and that she was sleep deprived when she recounted her horrifying trip to Bosnia under sniper fire. Hillary went even further and said she made a mistake, that she misspoke and that she was human.

So how does Hillary explain why her "sleep deprived", "misspoken" and "mistaken" account is still on her website? Dunno, perhaps she still stands by her account.

US - Hillary and snipergate

She's in a hole and just keeps digging. Love it!

US - Hillary Clinton's new lie over her Bosnian trip

Hillary seems to have forgotten the old adage, when in a hole don't dig. Hillary and her people are trying to portray Bosniangate as Hillary misspeaking. But in so doing Hillary has to create more lies. Listen to what she had to say to the Daily News and Inquirer.

"I was told we had to land a certain way, we had to have our bulletproof stuff on because of the threat of sniper fire. "

Really? Now watch the CBS video of her landing and tour. Notice no civilian, American or Bosnian, is wearing bulletproof gear. Not one civilian, including her own daughter, is wearing any protection. That's the problem with lying, you wind up lying even more to make your story work. Watch the video.

They should be forced to by law. Watch for Muslims to whine about this.

US - Paterson used campaign money for sex

How long before he resigns?

"Gov. David A. Paterson reimbursed his campaign committee this week for two stays at a Manhattan hotel that he has acknowledged using to carry on an extramarital affair, his aides said Friday."

The timing of the reimbursments is critical.

"Mr. Paterson had been asked by reporters about his campaign’s spending on stays at the hotel, which is not far from his Harlem home. State election law prohibits the use of campaign money for personal expenses, but if politicians promptly reimburse a campaign they can usually avoid any penalties."

Patterson's illegal use of campaign funds were "one night in November 2002 and another in April 2003".

I'm not even an American, it just so happens that I was born in America. People are prejudiced in tennis. I don't think Venus or Serena was ever accepted by tennis. They never will be. But if you get some little White no good trasher in America like Tracy Austin or Chris Evert who cannot hit the ball, they will claim this is great. "

US - Obama admits he heard Wright in church

condemning America.

"I have already condemned, in unequivocal terms, the statements of Reverend Wright that have caused such controversy. For some, nagging questions remain. Did I know him to be an occasionally fierce critic of American domestic and foreign policy? Of course. Did I ever hear him make remarks that could be considered controversial while I sat in church? Yes. Did I strongly disagree with many of his political views? Absolutely – just as I’m sure many of you have heard remarks from your pastors, priests, or rabbis with which you strongly disagreed. "

Maybe, but has anyone heard their priest or rabbis claim America is responsible for aids, was responsible for 9/11 or say "God damn America". It's one thing to disagree with your religious mentor on "political views" but these aren't political views - they're anti American views.

US - Obama Attended Hate America Sermon

Despite denials from the Obama camp Ronald Kessler is standing by his story.

"Our writer, Jim Davis, says he attended several services at Senator Obama's church during the month of July, including July 22. The church holds services three times every Sunday at 7:30 and 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Central time. While both the early morning and evening service allowed Sen. Obama to attend the service and still give a speech in Miami, Mr. Davis stands by his story that during one of the services he attended during the month of July, Senator Obama was present and sat through the sermon given by Rev. Wright as described in the story."

What bothers me is Davis doesn't seem to be saying he saw Obama there on the 22 of July, but one of the services during the month. More wriggle room for Obama.

US - Obama's pastor problem

Isn't going away just because the pastor is.

More here.

Favorite line.

"Ed Morrissey emails: "I sat in his church, but I didn't inhale."

Still more here.

No one should be surprised by this, Obama is after all, the most liberal Senator in the Senate. That means he hates America the most, which fits right in whith his pastor's belief's and his wife's beliefs.

US - Obama the new flip-flopper?

Yes, but not really new. Most Democrats flip flop as the political wind changes.

"More than a year after the initial success of the invasion, Obama explained, "There's not much of a difference between my position and George Bush's position at this stage." And he was correct. In July 2004, he argued that America had an "absolute obligation" to stay in Iraq until the country stabilized. "The failure of the Iraqi state would be a disaster," he said. "It would dishonor the 900-plus men and women who have already died."

Two months later, Obama criticized Bush's conduct of the war but repeated that simply pulling out would further destabilize Iraq, making it an "extraordinary hotbed of terrorist activity." And he signaled his openness to the deployment of additional troops if this would make an eventual withdrawal more likely.

In June 2006, Obama still opposed "a date certain for the total withdrawal of U.S. troops." "I don't think it's appropriate for Congress," he said, "to make those decisions about what happens in the field."

But now that he's running for President, Obama flips.

"When Obama announced his presidential candidacy on Feb. 10, 2007, he stated, "I have a plan that will bring our combat troops home by March of 2008." Then in May and again in November, he voted against funding American forces in Iraq. "

That would be now and the results would have been failure for America and victory for al Qaeda.

"His March 2008 withdrawal deadline -- which is up now -- would have undone the Anbar Awakening, massively strengthened al-Qaeda and increased civilian carnage. And Obama will find -- as John Kerry found in 2004 -- that Americans are suspicious of a prospective commander in chief who votes against funding U.S. troops in the field. "

Clinton is no better - no Democrat is.

US - War on Terror winning the war of minds

The Financial Times reports that President Bush's war on terror is winning the war of minds and al Qaeda is losing.

"In fact, in large measure because of what is unfolding in Iraq, the tide within the Islamic world is beginning to run strongly against al-Qaeda - and this, in turn, may be the single most important ideological development in recent years."

The end result for al Qaeda?

"Not surprisingly, al-Qaeda's stock is falling in much of the Arab and Islamic world. A recent survey found that in January less than a quarter of Pakistanis approved of Mr bin Laden, compared with 46 per cent last August, while backing for al-Qaeda fell from 33 per cent to 18 per cent.

According to a July 2007 report from the Pew Global Attitudes Project, "large and growing numbers of Muslims in the Middle East and elsewhere [are] rejecting Islamic extremism". The percentage of Muslims saying suicide bombing is justified in the defence of Islam has declined in seven of the eight Arab countries where trend data are available. In Lebanon, for example, 34 per cent of Muslims say such suicide bombings are often or sometimes justified; in 2002, 74 per cent expressed this view. We are also seeing large drops in support for Mr bin Laden. These have occurred since the Iraq war began."

US - Obama's True Beliefs

are far left wing. That's why he's ranked the most left wing senator.

Yes, and before Bush took office.

US - Eliot Spitzer no longer a Democrat

That's according to the BBC.

Now he is.

Now he isn't.

"Flanked by his wife, he told a news conference he could not allow "private failings" to disrupt public work."

Iran - Ahmadinejad's opponents barred from running

Nice to see the BBC reporting this.

This dog fight between Clinton and Obama is forcing, not just them, but all those around them to show the Left's true face - and it's ugly. Where's the beef?

"But during those two terms in the White House, Mrs. Clinton did not hold a security clearance. She did not attend National Security Council meetings. She was not given a copy of the president’s daily intelligence briefing. She did not assert herself on the crises in Somalia, Haiti and Rwanda.

And during one of President Bill Clinton’s major tests on terrorism, whether to bomb Afghanistan and Sudan in 1998, Mrs. Clinton was barely speaking to her husband, let alone advising him, as the Lewinsky scandal sizzled."

That's what Molly Levinson seems to think. Who is she you might ask. Well the BBC bill her as "US political analyst". What the BBC doesn't tell you is that she is married to the former CEO of the Democratic National Committee. Now you know why she thinks Hillary can still win.

UK - BBC's clueless Justin Webb

Webb, the BBC's Washington correspondent and Clintonian, shows just how clueless he is with this blog entry.

"Meanwhile, on the subject of less than wonderful news for Mrs Clinton, this catches my eye in the British press. The question: as Northern Ireland's peace deal was being thrashed out, was she watching basket-weaving displays (or whatever the Ulster equivalent is), or was she locking horns with the players as she suggests? David Trimble ought to know and has no reason to diminish her role."

Really Justin? Did you even bother to read what Trimble said? Here, let me help you out. First off, let's hear what Hillary claimed she did.

"Clinton said Wednesday, "I helped bring peace to Northern Ireland."

Now, did Trimble "diminish her role" or did he not? Here's what Trimble said using Justin's own link.

"Hillary Clinton had no direct role in bringing peace to Northern Ireland and is a "wee bit silly" for exaggerating the part she played, according to Lord Trimble of Lisnagarvey, the Nobel Peace Prize winner and former First Minister of the province."

In sharp contrast, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's visit — the first ever by an Iranian leader to Iraq — was announced in advance. He plans to spend the night here, and Iranian TV will broadcast his departure ceremony live."
