Another Mosque leader busted

From Chicago Tribune

A federal judge Tuesday ordered that a leader of a mosque on Chicago's South Side remain in custody on charges that he trafficked in a chemical essential to manufacture an illegal narcotic.

Tariq Isa, 55, a Palestinian-American, was arrested Thursday as he arrived at O'Hare International Airport on a flight from the Mideast, officials said.

An indictment charging Isa with distributing almost 1.73 million tablets of pseudoephedrine was returned in May in federal court in Chicago but sealed until after his arrest.

These stories make me wonder about how these guys get identified.

During the Cold War we arrested many spies based on secret programs like Venona (in which we broke the Soviet diplomatic code). Yet we didn't want to give away the secret so had to find other evidence to arrest them on. Judith Coplon and Julius Rosenberg are two examples.

It is just possible that we are getting tips from the Muslim community. It's also possible we've broken codes and things that we of course don't know about. The terror alerts are the same thing; what don't we know?

This is one reason why I'm willing to cut the Administration some slack. It's also why I'm amazed as to why the dopes in the media don't. But they've probably never read any real history, just the PC stuff they feed them at school.
