UK - BBC's fuzzy math and geography

What's wrong with this BBC picture?

Accompaning the pie chart of aid to the Palestinians, is a breakdown and comparison between how much the EU and the US give to them.

1: World Bank $85m
2: Isr/Pal integration $12m
3: UN relief (UNRWA) $77m
4: Food aid $35m
5: Humanitarian aid $33m
6: Special projects $24m
7: Infrastructure $72m
8: Member states $262m

EU TOTAL: $600m

1: 2003/04 rollover $175m
2: PA debts $20m
3: Gaza infrastructure $50m
4: USAID projects $155m

US TOTAL: $400m

Nice to see the BBC at least telling the British public that the Great Satan gives $400m to the Palestinians.

But what's up with the EU figures? Why is the World Bank and the UN figures included in the EU's total? Neither is part of the EU and the US gives money to both. In fact, the US is the largest donor to the UN. So, in reality the US may be giving more than the EU.

That's the BBC for you.
