Clinton on Obama
Read between the lines.
"And why is Obama so good? Because “the long, hard primary” had “strengthened him.” In other words, Obama was weak to start.
And with Joe Biden on board, “America will have the national security leadership we need.” Obama wasn’t qualified, so he picked a veep who was.
But the digs didn’t end there.
Clinton very pointedly mentioned crushing “credit card debt.” And Biden is pretty much a wholly-owned subsidiary of Delaware’s many credit card companies. Clinton knows that. The media know that. And pretty soon they’ll remind you of it, too.
And then there was the claim about Obama’s “acute grasp of foreign policy,” which is sure to remind folks that Obama was against the surge before he admitted it’s working, and that Biden — like Hill — voted for the Iraq War."

Why Obama looks vulnerable
Good article from the FT.
But I found this odd.
Those two were Governors and therefore did have experience governing. And Obama is no Kennedy.
But I found this odd.
"It is clear that Mr Obama lacks experience. But that, in itself, need not be a bar to the White House. The same was true of other Democrats who won the presidency – John Kennedy, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton."
Those two were Governors and therefore did have experience governing. And Obama is no Kennedy.
Ayers, Dohrn, Obama and why it matters
This is why the Democrats want to bury this scandal.
Obama vetted her before she became the co-host of his career-launching fundraiser. What does this say about Obama's judgement?
"I am amazed, simply amazed, at the amazement of many liberals that Ayers and Dohrn should matter to anyone. I was one of the first to write about Ayers (for which Alan Colmes denounced me as some kind of McCarthyite, though not in so many words) and I've been getting email ever since for my mule-headedness. Apparently the groupthink is so thick that at the Obama campaign they actually think this rightwing or Republican obsession is a weakness. How else to explain the stupidity of their Ayers' ad? Okay, there are some other possible explanations — some deadly polling numbers they're discovering, for example. But the consternation at such horrible "guilt-by-association" is still very real. But it runs even deeper than you might think. Consider Bernadine Dohrn, Ayers' wife and the co-host of Obama's career-launching fundraiser. When she was in the Weather Underground she was one of those members typically fascinated with Charles Manson (I discuss this briefly in my book). Speaking of Manson's famous murders she exclaimed, "Dig It! First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them, they even shoved a fork into a victim’s stomach! Wild!” In appreciation, her Weather Underground cell made a threefingered “fork” gesture its official salute."
Obama vetted her before she became the co-host of his career-launching fundraiser. What does this say about Obama's judgement?
Bill Clinton in Denver again undercuts Obama
This is so much fun watching the Democrats self destruct.
Heck no. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge, know what I mean?
"He said: "Suppose for example you're a voter. And you've got candidate X and candidate Y. Candidate X agrees with you on everything, but you don't think that person can deliver on anything. Candidate Y disagrees with you on half the issues, but you believe that on the other half, the candidate will be able to deliver. For whom would you vote?"
Then, perhaps mindful of how his off-the-cuff remarks might be taken, Clinton added after a pause: "This has nothing to do with what's going on now."
Heck no. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge, know what I mean?
Mark Warner not helping Obama
Obama's total lack of experience is highlited by everyone around him.
"8:41: The keynote speaker, the former governor of Virginia, Mark Warner. His theme is the future. Technology and economic development are important. He's trying to pump us up about that general idea. It's not at all clear that it has much to do with Obama. He says it doesn't matter if good ideas come from Democrats or Republicans. Now, he's boasting about the things he achieved as governor of Virginia, and it just makes me think about how Obama has no record at all of achievements like that."

Why Biden's plagiarism shouldn't be forgotten
Remember, Obama vetted Biden.
What does this say about Obama's judgement.
"Biden lifted Kinnock's precise turns of phrase and his sequences of ideas—a degree of plagiarism that would qualify any student for failure, if not expulsion from school. But the even greater sin was to borrow biographical facts from Kinnock that, although true about Kinnock, didn't apply to Biden. Unlike Kinnock, Biden wasn't the first person in his family history to attend college, as he asserted; nor were his ancestors coal miners, as he claimed when he used Kinnock's words. Once exposed, Biden's campaign team managed to come up with a great-grandfather who had been a mining engineer, but he hardly fit the candidate's description of one who "would come up [from the mines] after 12 hours and play football." At any rate, Biden had delivered his offending remarks with an introduction that clearly implied he had come up with them himself and that they pertained to his own life. "
What does this say about Obama's judgement.

Biden - "Obama has been tested for Aids" - video
The big question is why? Why would Obama need to be tested for Aids?
Meet Joe Biden
You're not going to like what you find. For example:
"At the Tuesday-morning meeting with committee staffers, Biden launches into a stream-of-consciousness monologue about what his committee should be doing, before he finally admits the obvious: "I'm groping here." Then he hits on an idea: America needs to show the Arab world that we're not bent on its destruction. "Seems to me this would be a good time to send, no strings attached, a check for $200 million to Iran," Biden declares. He surveys the table with raised eyebrows, a How do ya like that? look on his face.
The staffers sit in silence. Finally somebody ventures a response: "I think they'd send it back." Then another aide speaks up delicately: "The thing I would worry about is that it would almost look like a publicity stunt." Still another reminds Biden that an Iranian delegation is in Moscow that very day to discuss a $300 million arms deal with Vladimir Putin that the United States has strongly condemned. But Joe Biden is barely listening anymore. He's already moved on to something else."
Joseph Biden's Plagiarism
is coming back to haunt him and Obama.
Again, what does Obama's pick of Biden say about Obama's judgement?
Again, what does Obama's pick of Biden say about Obama's judgement?
Joe Biden’s just a barrel of gaffes
This is from 2007.
Ouch! So what does this say about Obama's judgement?
"And, of course, last summer Biden attempted to endear himself to an Indian American supporter by telling him that in Delaware, “you cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin’ Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent.” Not only was this an offensive line, it didn’t even make any sense: The observation, familiar to anybody who watched a comedian on cable television 15 years ago, is that Indian Americans are the only ones who work in convenience stores, not that they’re the only ones who shop there. The man can’t even keep his condescending cliches straight.
Biden looks as if he’s the product of a laboratory experiment designed to create the world’s worst presidential candidate. If the Obama gaffe doesn’t knock him out of the race, something else will. I doubt he makes it to Iowa."
Ouch! So what does this say about Obama's judgement?
Biden pick shows lack of confidence
So much for "change" eh?
Ouch!
"DENVER – The candidate of change went with the status quo.
In picking Sen. Joe Biden to be his running mate, Barack Obama sought to shore up his weakness — inexperience in office and on foreign policy — rather than underscore his strength as a new-generation candidate defying political conventions.
He picked a 35-year veteran of the Senate — the ultimate insider — rather than a candidate from outside Washington, such as Govs. Tim Kaine of Virginia or Kathleen Sebelius of Kansas; or from outside his party, such as Sen. Chuck Hagel of Nebraska; or from outside the mostly white male club of vice presidential candidates. Hillary Rodham Clinton didn't even make his short list.
The picks say something profound about Obama: For all his self-confidence, the 47-year-old Illinois senator worried that he couldn't beat Republican John McCain without help from a seasoned politician willing to attack. The Biden pick is the next logistical step in an Obama campaign that has become more negative — a strategic decision that may be necessary but threatens to run counter to his image."
Ouch!
Obama Picks Joe Biden
Because Obama isn't qualified to be President. Not that Biden is either. But the pick does highlight Obama's lack of experience and qualifications.

Obama - China versus America on business
“Beijing looks like a pretty good option.”
Pray tell Senator, how does that create jobs in Pennsylvania and Ohio?
Pray tell Senator, how does that create jobs in Pennsylvania and Ohio?
Exposing Michelle Obama's radical ties
Something the left wing media won't do.
"In short, just after Barack Obama effectively secured a seat in the State Senate, the University of Chicago invented a new job, for which it hired Michelle Obama. In that job, Michelle would be able to channel University of Chicago students into the radical anti-American groups that she and her husband worked with, and whose ideology has received far too little scrutiny. Some of these organizations, even if unofficially, provided campaign workers for Barack Obama on election day (see "Senator Stealth")."
Obama - Just tax the heck out of people
That's the Democrats for you.
"“If you talk to Warren [Buffet], he’ll tell you his preference is not to meddle in the economy at all — let the market work, however way it’s going to work, and then just tax the heck out of people at the end and just redistribute it,” Obama said. “That way you’re not impeding efficiency, and you’re achieving equity on the back end.” He continued by saying that he thought there was some merit in Buffett’s argument. "
Question of the day
Love it.
"What's more important: How many buildings John McCain and his wife own, or how many buildings Bill Ayers and his wife tried to blow up?"

Obama - Ayers Cover-Up Into The Spotlight
Just like the media coved up for John Edwards, watch for them to cover this up as well.

University won't open Obama-related records now
More cover up.
Got to love this line.
Obama's friends didn't just "espouse" it, they used bombs.
Got to love this line.
"Ayers is an education professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago who in his youth co-founded the Weatherman organization, later known as the Weather Underground Organization, which espoused violence as a necessity for political change."

Obama caught lying
Obama, Kerry, Edwards - all Democrats caught lying and all wanted to be President. Sheesh.
More here.

US - Media in the tank for Obama
It's so bad even the Washington Post admits it.
Gee, you think?
"But the disparity is so wide that it doesn't look good. "

Venezuela lifts basic food prices
But who's behind the rise?
"Prices of foodstuffs from bread to beef have risen by up to 50% in Venezuela after the country's government raised the regulated prices of basic items. "
That would be Chavez to you and me.

We need to stop being such cowards about Islam
What's with the "we" crap? The Left have been cowtowing to Islam for years.
Which is precisely what the Left have been doing.
"There is now a pincer movement trying to silence critical discussion of Islam. To one side, fanatics threaten to kill you; to the other, critics call you "Islamophobic". But consistent atheism is not racism. On the contrary: it treats all people as mature adults who can cope with rational questions. When we pulp books out of fear of fundamentalism, we are decapitating the most precious freedom we have."
Which is precisely what the Left have been doing.

Bush was right
The old saying, you can fool some of the people all of the time but you can't fool all the people all the time, is apt for Bush's war on terror and the Iraq war. As much as the Left and left wing media have tried to paint Bush wrong, you just can't fool all the people all the time.
Bill Clinton says Obama not ready to be President
For once he's right about something.
Ouch!
"After Snow asked if the Illinois senator is ready to be president, Clinton spun, "You could argue that no one is ever ready to be president." He went on to discuss how he learned things on the job, how the presidency is full of pressure. Clinton finished his evasive response by admitting that Obama can "inspire" and by observing in a a tone that sounded slightly condescending, "And he's smart as a whip, so there's nothing he can't learn."
Ouch!
Obama Sinking in Polls
We've a long way to go and I don't trust polls much. So, look at this for what it's worth.
I think this is spot on though.
That is an undeniable fact Obama can't hide from.
I think this is spot on though.
"The question, obviously, is whether that erosion will continue as voters continue to learn more about Obama, and see him less as a media phenomenon, and more as a conventional, but very liberal, Democrat with little practical experience."
That is an undeniable fact Obama can't hide from.
Why Obama Can't Win
Never thought I'd link to HuffnPuff. Get a load of some of this.
Ouch!
"The shift in his political personae has been startling. Obama has moved right so far and so fast, he could end up McCain's Vice-Presidential pick.
General-election Obama now billboards his doubts about affirmative action. He has embraced the Bush Doctrine of pre-emption saying, "I will do everything in my power to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon...everything." He tells his party "Democrats are not for a bigger government." Oil drilling is a consideration. His FISA vote and abandonment of public campaign finance introduce us to an Obama of recent invention. And as he abandons his old identity for the new, breeding disenchantment among his formerly passionate left-of-center supporters and, equally, doubts among the center he courts, he risks becoming nothing at all, a candidate who is everything and nothing in the same moment. In one of the most powerful marketing books of the past few years, Authenticity, an exploration of our demand for what's real in an increasingly contrived world, authors Gilmore and Pine quote philosophy professor Crispin Sartwell about Al Gore. "Every attempt to regain authenticity," Crispin says, "only casts a new, infinitely repeated image through the hall of mirrors that is his political life and our media experience of that life." Those reflections set the authenticity of John McCain in high-relief. McCain has revealed himself to his core. "
Ouch!

Obama's "Inflate Your Tires" Energy Plan
Sounds awfully like "let them eat cake". And we all know how that turned out.
Allies Obama Overlooked
More proof he's not ready to run the country.
"In 2004, J. Cofer Black, the State Department’s coordinator for counterterrorism, testified about the success of these partnerships before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee’s subcommittee on European affairs. Had Senator Obama, who now heads that subcommittee, read the transcripts from the meeting, which took place before he came to office, or had he held a similar hearing, he might have known that the partnerships he called for last week already exist. "
