Hanoi Approved of Role Played By Anti-War Vet John Kerry

The New York Sun is hot today in more ways than one.

First up they have John Kerry caught in plagiarism scandal.

Now they have some Hanoi memos to haunt John Kerry.

Here is a snippet:

The CDEC cover sheet of the "Directive" indicates it was "acquired" on May 12, 1971. The cover sheet itself is dated June 30, 1971, and is entitled "VC Efforts to Back Antiwar Demonstrations in the United States." It shows a detailed knowledge of such VVAW activities as the Dewey Canyon demonstration on the Mall in Washington in April 1971, mentioning the "return of their medals." And the Saigon American military intelligence cover sheet dates the information in that document as being assembled in Vietnam only a week after the Washington VVAW demonstration had taken place.

This may turn into a huge scandal for Kerry.

As Blogs of War quotes WorldNetDaily

The first documentary evidence that Vietnamese communists were directly steering John Kerry’s antiwar group Vietnam Veterans Against the War has been discovered in a U.S. archive, according to a researcher who spoke with WorldNetDaily.

You think that is bad news for Kerry, keep reading Blogs of War.

This is from and email to them.

I just got off the phone with a worker at the Vietnam archive. She informed me of the following. There were two people from the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth at the Texas Tech University archive within the last two to three weeks specifically looking for documents pertaining to John Kerry’s anti-war movmement Vietnam Veterans Against the War. She told me there has been a bit of a buzz around there as of late after these two individuals claimed they found something huge.

Let's hope it is huge and hope they get it out soon.

UPDATE: Wizbang has a huge post on this with lots of information from the Swift Boat crew.

Worldnetdaily? The same publication that thinks Noah's Ark has been found?

Wow. I'm impressed.

"Swift Boat Veterans for Truth". There's an oxymoron.

Like this blog, they seem to think "truth" means whatever they want to be true.
