Hundreds of people packed a Stone Mountain church Saturday night to hear Cindy Sheehan, the woman who spent most of August in Crawford, Texas, trying speak to President Bush about her son's death.
It must have been a small chruch. But then again, maybe not.
She did say "packed" right?
Ah, what ever happened to the good old anti-war days, eh? In those days the crowds were in the thousands.
Gentry, like most in the media, fails to inform her readers that Sheehan has already met with the President.
Gentry is also happy to build up Sheehan's image for her.
Her solitary effort has sparked a national anti-war movement that will culminate Sept. 24 in Washington, when peace advocates will gather there.
Really? Someone ought to alert the press as they seem to be missing this national movement. How big is the "national" movement?
Four veterans of Iraq also said they want the war to end.
As for "solitary effort" I think Moveon.org and CodePink will be upset at that snub.

"I had given up on my country, but we remembered what we had forgotten after almost five years of a virtual dictatorship — that we the people have the power," she said.
Yes, the people have the power and they re-elected, not only Bush, but more republicans in both houses of Congress and more governors. Some dictatorship, eh Cindy? Interesting that Gentry made no comment about Cindy's rant.
And some of Sheehan's moonbats want to overthrow the government.
Phil and Linda Waste of Hinesville have three sons and two grandchildren who have served in Iraq. "We're going on to Washington and take our country back," Phil Waste said.
Catchy last name there Phil - Waste. And just whom are you going to take it back from? The democratically elected representatives of the people?
