Iraq - Bill Clinton Flatly Asserts He Opposed War at Start

He was for it before he was against it. Typical lying Democrat.

Here's Clinton in 1998 on why he attacked Iraq. As you read this, remember how the Democrats, like his wife, keep saying they were misled into the war.

"Earlier today, I ordered America's armed forces to strike military and security targets in Iraq. They are joined by British forces. Their mission is to attack Iraq's nuclear, chemical and biological weapons programs and its military capacity to threaten its neighbors.

Their purpose is to protect the national interest of the United States, and indeed the interests of people throughout the Middle East and around the world.

Saddam Hussein must not be allowed to threaten his neighbors or the world with nuclear arms, poison gas or biological weapons. "

More flip flopping here.

"A spokesman for Bill Clinton tried to downplay the former president's comments by distinguishing between the authority to go to war, which both Clintons supported, and President Bush's decision to use that authority when he did."

Say what? If you didn't want him to go to war Bill you shouldn't have supported giving him authority to go to war. Duh.
